Questions

How are Charbonnel et Walker truffles made?
The exquisite truffles are made from the finest ingredients. Butter is folded into melted milk chocolate and alcohol is added such as decadent Marc de Champagne. The mixture is whisked to form a thick ganache and the truffles are then surrounded by a coating of fine chocolate and are lightly dusted in icing sugar.
What makes Charbonnel et Walker's dark chocolate special?
The company is particularly renowned for its dark chocolate, made from the finest dark couverture. The result is a decadently rich taste and an unforgettable experience.
How long has Charbonnel et Walker been in business?
Founded in 1875, Charbonnel et Walker is one of Britain's earliest chocolatiers. The company was established as a partnership between Mrs Walker and Madame Charbonnel, encouraged by Edward VII (then the Prince of Wales).
Where is Charbonnel et Walker located?
The original shop opened at 173 New Bond Street in Mayfair and has remained on Bond Street ever since. It is housed in one of London's most elegant arcades, the Royal Arcade on Old Bond Street.
