Questions
- Are your reproductions really painted by hand?
- Yes, every painting is made by an artist with 15 or more years of experience, in oils on canvas, with no printing at any stage. Customers receive photos while the work is in progress and unedited photos of the finished painting before it ships, so they can see the brushwork for themselves.
- How long does a reproduction take and which sizes can I order?
- Most paintings are finished within 3 weeks, with large or highly detailed works taking longer. Delivery adds another 3 to 10 days once the piece is framed and packed. Standard sizes are available on each painting's page, and custom dimensions can be requested to suit a specific wall.
- Is it legal to buy a reproduction of a famous painting?
- Yes, when the original is in the public domain, which covers the classical and Impressionist works Art & See paints. A reproduction is a new work made by hand and sold as a reproduction, never as an original, and it is never signed as the original artist.
- What delivery options are available?
- Customers can choose three formats: unframed (rolled in a tube for local framing), gallery wrap (stretched on a wooden frame, ready to hang), or framed (with classic mouldings fitted before dispatch). Every option ships free worldwide in protective packaging.
- What if I don't like the result?
- Customers see unedited photos of the finished painting before it leaves the studio and can ask for free revisions until satisfied. Art & See only ships once the customer approves it.
