Fond & Fold

Questions

What exactly do I receive after purchase?

Your purchase includes the exact illustrated cover as a 1500 × 2100 PNG without the preview watermark, plus a separate note PNG if you added one. You can download it, print it at home as a folded 5 × 7 card, share it by link, or have it emailed to you. The delivery link stays active for up to 30 days.

How are Fond & Fold cards actually made?

Each card's visual direction is developed and tested first using AI image tools with card-specific prompts and settings. Your card is not a face pasted into an existing picture; the model rebuilds the chosen design around the person in your photo while keeping only directions that hold up consistently.

What happens if my photo doesn't work?

An automatic check runs before the card is made and can reject photos that don't have readable detail, no suitable subject, or insufficient facial features visible. If rejected, the fix is usually a different photograph. Only a clear failure stops the upload; otherwise you continue to card details and still see the preview before deciding to buy.

What kind of photo works best?

Upload a JPG, PNG, HEIC or HEIF file no larger than 20 MB where the intended person is recognizable with clear facial features and not a busy background. The person should fill most of the framed area with the framed area at least 400 pixels on its shorter side. Some covering is fine when recognizable facial features remain visible, but avoid full backlighting, heavy filters, very blurry faces, or faces turned almost completely away.

How much does a card cost and what payment options are available?

A single card costs USD 9.99 before applicable sales tax, or you can buy a 3-card pack for USD 19.99 that covers three automatic cards made within 12 months. Dodo Payments handles checkout and shows the final total including any applicable tax before you pay.
