How to manage your notification preferences
Adjust which messages you receive, through which channels, and how frequently—or turn them off entirely where permitted.
Updated
We believe in respecting your attention. Visit /account/notifications to shape precisely which notices reach you, and by what means.
Choosing your channels and cadence
For each type of notice, you may elect to receive it by Email, Telegram or Slack. Where you choose chat channels, you can set optional quiet hours to preserve your peace. Frequency is yours to set: Instant delivery, a Daily digest, a Weekly digest, or Off entirely.
Telegram and Slack require you to configure your own bot or webhook; we do not hold these credentials.
Notices you will always receive
A small set of communications cannot be silenced. These are presented for your protection and account management: receipts and refunds, payment issues, disputes, alerts when a listing is held pending your founder profile, changes to listing status, a missing founder badge, and security notices—such as sign-ins from new devices or amendments to your email address.
Unsubscribing from individual notices
Each notification email carries a one-click unsubscribe link for that particular notice type. You may use this to step away without visiting your account settings.
Questions people ask
- Can I turn off all notifications?
- No. Essential notices—receipts, refunds, payment alerts, disputes, listing changes, and security events—cannot be disabled. All others are yours to manage at /account/notifications.
- What do quiet hours do?
- When applied to Telegram or Slack, quiet hours pause notifications through those channels during your chosen window, whilst other channels remain active.
- How do I set up Telegram or Slack?
- You configure your own bot or webhook for these channels. VIP Life Retail does not store your credentials.
